Dutch champion ABC Amsterdam and the American forward Qarran Calhoun (203-F-86, agency: Hart Sports Mngm, college: Houston) have reached an agreement on an contract for the remainder of the current season. Qarran Calhoun is 23 years old and can play as a small or power-forward. VEF Riga strengthened their roster with addition of Sandis Valters. The team was need of boosting their backcourt after the departure of Martynas Mazeika. VEF Riga opted for one of the best Latvian guards Sandis Valters. Sandis will now team up with his father Valdis who is guiding VEF Riga. Sandis Valters started the previous season in ASK Riga.
