Interview with William Modeste ( Shooting/Point Guard – Available)

William can come off screens and have a great game from mid-range out to the 3-point line. Also he is an excellent defender and a leader on the floor.

- What do you expect from you and from a team overseas?

I expect myself to play hard and continue to help the team go in a positive direction. A direction that puts them closer to their overall goals of that season.

I expect the team to appreciate the things I can bring to their team and make this a mutual beneficial experience.

- What do you think is your greatest virtues as a player?

As a player, I can do whatever the team needs... I can play both guards positions equally well, a very good shooter that can shoot anywhere on the court, I can guard players that play the 1, 2, and 3 positions, I have professional experience, I listen, and I have this passion to improve and work hard and never give up on any situation.

- And where do you need improvement?

The one thing I need to improve on is to not dwell on my own mistakes sometimes. I am a very confident player, which makes me try to be a perfectionist. I love to make a great first impression.

- What has been the best game in your career until now?

I had better games but under the circumstances, I played very well. The game I can remember was actually my last home game at the college level. Senior Night. We played the third best team in the conference and we were losing by 15 points in the 2nd half. We was struggling to score, but then I got hot. I scored 19 (finished the game with 24 points, 5 assists, and 5 rebounds.) points in the 2nd half to help team win the game by 4 points and clinching a playoff spot. The first time we ever made the playoffs in the conference.

- Your dream...?

My dream is to play professionally anywhere in the world
